Fitting The Motors
Each of the 4 vacuum motors must be held securely in place inside the box.
Air Channels
With an end panel removed you can see there's more to this simple looking box than meets the eye after it's assembled. There are 4 independent air channels inside.
Flapper Details
With the bottom panel removed it's possible to see how the flapper valve separates the 2 pairs of motors.
FIltered Vacuum Air
With the bottom panel removed you can see where the vacuum air is sucked through a filter on the table connector into the motors.
Vacuum Table Connection
This is the connection to the table plumbing - where the motors suck the air out of the table plenum that holds parts onto the table.
Flapper Valve
This side shows the angled metal rod connected to the flapper valve inside the box which allows either 2 or 4 of the motors to run simultaneously.
Finished Box
The box is mounted beneath the router table & connected to the table plumbing. This side shows the motor cooling air filter.
3D Solid Model
Accurately scaled 3D models is obviously valuable in any project, but until now it's only been available to big business' with big budgets. We offer all our customers this level of design - regardless of their size. It not only eliminates wasted time & material, it reduces misunderstandings.
3D X-ray View
The ability to see through objects during the design stage saves countless hours & wasted material in the shop.
Motors In Place
A view of the inside of the box showing the wiring.
Clean Motor Air
A view with the main top panel removed shows the motor top fans. Clean air enters this area through the filter on the right to provide cooling of the motors.
